On the night of 24th October 2021, my constituency Bukoto Central was hit by a hailstorm that left 23 villages affected, 1,260 households affected, 221 houses destroyed, 4,915 people affected and crops like banana plantations, coffee, beans and others on 3837 acres of land lost. I immediately wrote to the prime minister’s office requesting emergency relief that was provided within 72 hours. I thank you so much, Rt. Hon. Nabanjja and Hon. Ester Anyakunyu for the quick response. I thank everyone that has helped us with anything through this trying time.
