MASAKA: Bukoto Central Constituency Member of parliament Hon. Eng. Richard Sebamala has donated 3000kg of Maize seeds to boost Agriculture and farm outputs.
The 3 tones of Maize where on Thursday September 7th 2023, distributed to four parishes of Bugere and Kitunga in Kyesiiga subcounty and also Buyinja and Buyaga parishes in Kyannamukaaka sub county.
Through is constituency coordinators, Eng. Sebamala said he will continue lobbying for his constituents regards of the blackmails spread against his name by his opponents.
Mr. Ronald Kafeero, one of MP Sebamala’s coordinators while giving out the maize seeds to farmers said the celebrated Parliamentarian who is currently in the diaspora on official duties will continue lobbying for his constituents and he will continue to institutes moves which forces government to present their share from the National cake.
“We shall continue sharing the little we get. our people shouldn’t be shaken by the early politics in the constituency. Where were they before we came in? We still stand strong and we shall continue lobbying for more developments.” Kafeero said.
Sebamala said, that however much government turned its back on giving MPs maize to distribute to constituents, he at least managed to lobby the 3 tones.
Every planning season, MP Sebamala makes sure that he distributes at least 2 tones of maize to identified parishes to boost subsistence and commercial farming in Masaka District
Sebamala is currently in the diaspora until mid September to lobby for his constituents.
